Cosmic Resonance - Meditation Chamber

Yossef Zakariya is a conceptual designer and 3rd-generation jeweler. Like an alchemist delving into forbidden knowledge, Zakariya investigates the secrets in the encounter between materiality and spirituality. The central inspiration for his work is the Merkaba or vehicle of heavenly ascension in Jewish mysticism, which among other things symbolizes the encrypted codes and signals of the universe. Exploring the translation of a spiritual structure into the physical realm, Zakariya creates systematic constructions of mystical forms. In ‘Cosmic Resonance’, he builds an ark based on the proportions of Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, which acts like a time machine, and invites viewers into a meditative space.
